Playing makes me happy!
Playing... We all think it's important - for our children. We just don't do it anymore when we're adults. Why not? Who decided that we should play as
Adults aren't allowed to play anymore? I think it's such a shame that playing (together) isn't the norm anymore! Playing makes me happy, and that became even more clear when my nieces were born. Then I felt again how much fun it is to be a child. And to continue experiencing that feeling, even as an adult.
Swinging. On the seesaw. Down the slide. Tag. Hide-and-seek. I love it.
My nieces set a good example outside and I just follow their lead. Wonderful! And what
Turns out? I still don't dare to go high or fast... So some things don't change. But playing does bring me closer to myself and makes me feel happy.
When we have a birthday, I'm the adult who plays with the kids. We run around the room, draw together, or they climb and clamber on my legs to do somersaults and tricks. We dance, I read a book, or we make funny faces and wrestle together. They love it, because what adult does that anymore?
You can understand why my nieces often jump for joy when I come in.
Now that some of my nieces are a bit older, card games and board games are coming out more often. It's a fun activity together, and you get to know each other's personalities. Because some children can handle losing a little better than others. And how you handle that is already being determined. And no, I'm definitely not letting them win...
Playing, it's so important. Physically and together. Playing gives me a sense of freedom in my body. The child in me immediately comes out and lets loose. Playing simply makes me happy!
How wonderful would it be if all adults played more, and thereby connected with their inner child? I hope I've given you vivid examples of what that can look like, together with children. I also help people connect with their inner child through energy attunements, purely based on a photo. It's wonderful to show people where their true desires lie in this way.
