About The Noniz
🌈 🧚♀️ On a warm day in the south of Rainbow Lane, far away from the inhabited world, lived a family, the Noniz family. The parents of the family are two funny and very flexible acrobats. Together with their 7 children, they live in a magical place. The Noniz are not just a few “normal” children, they are all very special. Everyone is different, but together they are a beautiful family where everyone can be themselves.
The family has quickly expanded immensely. Now, you can find hundreds of #theNoniz on the webshop. But be warned: we are unique and beautiful just as we are. So, if you dare to judge us, we won't come looking for you when we play a game of hide-and-seek!
Oh yes, so I am the big mother of the family. I am Nona, 27 years old and I come from Zoeterwoude, but of course I have always dreamed of living in the Rainbow Lane together with the Noniz. I am doing everything, but I would better describe myself as all the characters of the noniz family together and I am somewhere in between.
As a little girl I grew up to be a big clown. I had phases where I went through life as a goth, and then into a big rainbow. When I was 17 I started living on my own. I couldn't cook yet, but the adventure was there. When I was 24 I dropped out with a burnout.
During a week of holiday with myself without a phone (during my recovery), I came to the conclusion that I wanted to travel. Maybe not the best idea. But I am me. So I just did it. I had decided to leave for a community in Spain, but 2 weeks before departure I decided to change my ticket to Bali. More than 2 years later I'm still there. I realized during my journey, that accepting myself as being different, the most beautiful thing there is for me. I want to give a message to children and (inner)children that it is okay to feel and show emotions. Because authenticity starts by being in touch with your emotions. <3
