ME!

My name is Nona from the Netherlands. I grew up in a small village in the Netherlands, Zoeterwoude, and have been an adventurer from a young age. I've been living independently since I was young, studying in various countries from there, and for the past 2.5 years, I've been living in Indonesia. Alongside me is my bear Mees (see photo).

I always found it difficult to be different. I was a big jumping jack, later diagnosed with ADHD. I always did things differently from others, and I struggled with that. Now I know that's actually my greatest strength. It's okay to be different. And YES! That's the message I want to spread through my drawings, events and coaching.

My story

I ran until the light faded. I was wearing a heavy winter coat in the middle of summer when I fell into a puddle. I’ll dry off slowly. I found breathwork, moved abroad, and slowly connected with the small Nona inside me. As the sun started to shine, I began a creative journey with the Noniz and slowly found myself again.

I learned to talk to the voices inside me: the anxious one and the critical one. They kept me busy, but I realized my characters wanted to be shared. Yes, I have a small Nona with me everywhere. My jacket was a bright light in the cold winter.

My mission is to help you feel lightness and joy, along with creativity and mindfulness. Which part of the jacket will you hold onto today?
