Did you know that every one of us has our own special way of experiencing play? According to Dr. Stuart Brown, there are 8 playtypes, and they’re all about how you naturally connect with joy, creativity, and FUN.

When I started exploring my own inner child, I realized how important it is to know what makes you light up. Understanding your playtype is like having a little roadmap back to the things that make you feel alive and carefree (I am the Creative maker)

The explorer 🌍
Love adventure and trying new things? Whether it’s traveling, learning something fresh, or wandering through nature, you thrive on curiosity.

The creative maker 🎨
Do you love getting hands-on? Painting, building, or crafting something unique is your idea of the perfect playtime.

• Paint on canvas.
• Build with clay.
• Make a moodboard 

The competitor 🏆
If you love a little friendly competition, whether it’s sports, games, or hitting your personal goals, this one’s you!

• Play a card game 
• See who can balance on one foot the longest
• Count how many times you can pass a ball without dropping it

The director 🎭
Are you the planner in your group? You shine when you’re organizing activities, events, or even just getting people together to have fun.

• Plan a group game night
• Organize a talent show
• Host a movie marathon

The storyteller 📖
Do you live for imagination and creativity? Whether it’s writing, acting, or just weaving a great story, you bring the magic of storytelling wherever you go.

The mover 🕺
You feel alive when you’re in motion—dancing, running, yoga, you name it. For you, play is all about movement and flow.

Why this matters
